Rim brakes can suffer from reduced effectiveness in wet, muddy conditions and debris can be trapped underneath them that will damage the rim. Greenspeed have come up with a way to reduce the effects of this on your Brompton - a replacement front wheel with integral hub brake. The mechanism is entirely internal so it remains unaffected by weather, mud and grit, while increasing braking power.
The kit includes the new wheel, and the reaction clip for the brake to "push" against. It works with the existing Brompton brake lever and cable.
